Together we are

Commissioned to commemorate Refugee Week 2025's theme: Community as a Superpower, our short film, 'Together We Are,' was recorded and produced by Huckleberry Films. It presents a powerful and moving collaborative poem, written by asylum seekers and refugees who now call Blackburn with Darwen home and was created in workshops led by poet Nathan Parker. The poem explores their journey from hardship and displacement to finding belonging and strength through the embrace of community.
