Kairos Housing provides short-term, supported accommodation for single adults who are:

• Asylum Seekers with No Recourse to Public Funds (NRPF).
• Refugees in the move-on period from Home Office accommodation who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.

Please note:

• We do not accept self-referrals or referrals made in person at our office.
• Applicants must have a local connection to Blackburn with Darwen.​

​How to get a referral

If you are a Refugee and homeless:

Go to the Blackburn with Darwen Town Hall, King William Street, BB1 7DY. Ask for the Housing Needs Department.

If you are an Asylum Seeker with No Recourse to Public Funds and homeless:

Please contact ARC (Blackburn) or DARE (Darwen). They can provide you with support and complete a referral for housing if appropriate.
