Portraits of Courage Exhibition Photo Book: See the world through a different lens...

Produced by Kairos Housing, Portraits of Courage brings together twenty stories of survival, hope and community, created for a public exhibition staged at Blackburn Cathedral to mark Refugee Week 2026. The project is a collaborative endeavour with refugees and asylum seekers working together to capture their stories and portraits.

By preserving the exhibition in these high-quality pages, this companion book serves as a permanent record of their resilience. Every portrait tells a story—use your phone’s camera to scan the interactive QR codes inside and listen to our guests share their journeys of courage in their own words.

Keep it on your coffee table, share it with friends, or gift it to someone who needs a reminder of our shared humanity.

"Nobody can write my history except me..."

"Everything I have done, I have done for my children."

"Having courage is victory."

Format: Large Square (210mm x 210mm), perfect-bound with a flat wrap-around cover.

Page Count: 48 pages, premium, heavy-weight paper for stunning photo reproduction.
