Statement of Faith
At Kairos Housing, our faith is the foundation of our mission and the motivation behind our work. We are a Christian organisation, shaped by the love and teachings of Jesus Christ, and we seek to serve others in a spirit of compassion, dignity and justice.
We confess Jesus Christ as the Son of God, fully divine and fully human. We believe in His life, death, and resurrection as the source of salvation and reconciliation for all who seek Him. We acknowledge Him as Lord and Saviour, the source of our hope, and the inspiration for our work.
We worship and glorify the one God, who exists eternally in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We recognise the Father as the creator and sustainer of all, the Son as the redeemer of humanity, and the Holy Spirit as God's presence and power at work in the world today.
We believe that living out the Good News of Jesus means working for justice, peace and the alleviation of suffering. Our Christian faith calls us to welcome the stranger, care for the vulnerable and challenge injustice.
While our faith motivates all that we do, we serve people of all faiths and none, without prejudice or expectation. We do not seek to convert others, but we seek to reflect the love of Christ in our words and actions.
We seek God's guidance through prayer, Scripture, and the wisdom of others, striving to remain faithful to His call. We trust in the Holy Spirit to equip and empower us for service, enabling us to live and work in a way that honours God and brings hope to those in need.
